RX-95 Pneumatic Hot Hole Punch & Press
The RX-95 models are both standard and configurable. They are designed to be used to melt holes, slots or shapes, for burning leather, cutting ribbon, or may be fitted with interchaneable thermal tooling suitable for use on a vertically operated pneumatic press.

A few of our most common models are listed below. (Click the images for the RX-95 product brochure.)

MATERIALS NOTICE: Most of these machines use thermal tooling made of brass alloy and cannot be used with materials that contain any PVC or neoprene. Please contact us for alternate tooling options.
Model RX-95-PS2/PM2-RK Single-hole thermal punch
(direct pneumatic with basic heat control)
Model RX-95-PM2-RK Multi-hole thermal punch
(with optional Slug-catch tray)
RX-95-PS2-RK
Pneumatically operated hot single-hole punch with basic heat control. Ideal for placing holes in all types of synthetic material. Direct pneumatic operation frees both hands for work placement: stepping on the foot-pedal lowers the punch; releasing the foot-pedal raises the punch.

RX-95-M33-TK

Burn your logo, lettering, or fine artwork into leather, wood or plastics with consistency using a precision dwell timer. Equipped with adjustable dwell timer and heated tooling area is 2”x3” (50x76mm). Uses a custom made magnesium die; artwork required. Other sizes are also available.

RX-95-PM2-RK
Pneumatically operated hot multi-hole punch with basic analog heat control. Direct pneumatic operation frees both hands for work placement: stepping on the foot-pedal lowers the punch; releasing the foot-pedal raises the punch. All RX-95 models include an adjustable material guide as shown.
This model shown at left is equipped with an optional Slug-catch tray, pneumatically timed to catch the falling hole slugs after each punch cycle.

OPTIONAL Stainless steel safety guard
RX-95-PS2-TK
Pneumatically operated hot single-hole punch with analog Dwell Timer and digital heater control. Punching process may be intiated by foot pedal for both hands free, or by two-button actuator which initiates a precision timed punch controlled by electronic timer.
Temperature is finely controlled by the preset digital heat control.
Model RX-95-PS2-TK
(with dwell timer and digital heat control)
RX-95-PML-RK
Pneumatically operated hot multi-hole punch with standard heat control. This model is using 5 solid 1/8" punches and our X-Y adjustable webbing guides.

Place the webbing into the guides and step on the foot pedal to punch through the webbing.
RX-95-SVL-RK
Pneumatically operated hot multi-hole thermal slitting machine with standard heat control. This model is using 5 solid 3/4" slitting knives for punching elevator pad binding webbing. Index the webbing manually for each set of holes. Other configurations are also available.

Place the webbing into the guides and step on the foot pedal to punch through the webbing.
RX-95-PN2/PS2-RK with optional slug catch-tray
Pneumatically operated single-hole punch with basic heat control and optional pneumatic slug tray. Step on the foot-pedal to activate the hole punch and retract the tray.
Releasing the foot-pedal brings the catch tray forward to prevent the melted hole slugs from falling onto the work area.
May be retro-fitted to almost any RX-95 model.
How do I determine the best punch size tooling?
Melting holes (round, slotted, or shaped) is a process with a lot of variables. A 1/4" punch tooling may produce a hole that is either larger or smaller than 1/4" due to variables such as:
- material type (nylon, polyester, polypropylene, etc.
- material thickness
- punching dwell time
- material makeup (woven, knitted, coarse, fine, etc.)
- punch tooling temperature
- pressure or force applied to the material

For this reason, it is difficult to maintain a very fine hole size tolerance. Our standard thermal punches are offered in 1/32" (0.8mm) size increments. Changing one or more of the variables listed above could easily change the finished size of your hole by this amount.

We suggest that you send us samples to determine the best tooling size for your application.
